Imaginations are the best thing in the world.

As artists, our need of an extensive and creative imagination is crucial. I have over 18 years teaching, coaching and directing experience, and I can’t wait to help you or your imaginative kiddos reach their full potential.

My specialty is the Method, including Meisner Technique and Improvisation. I’ve worked with students as young as 8, and as old as me!

TESTIMONIALS

Ms. Stephanie has been my acting coach since I was 8 years old. Ms. Stephanie has been an important part of my artistic journey, challenging me to be emotionally vulnerable and bringing truth to my acting process and storytelling. I trust her to guide me and give me honest feedback, as well as advocate for me as an artist. She prioritizes her students and their truth, challenging them to commit and demanding excellence, producing authentic, believable, and honest work. I can’t say enough how grateful I am for her and the time we’ve spent together.

2023 Los Angeles Fringe Festival Participant and Award Winner:

Hollywood ENCORE! Producers’ Award/Emerging Women Playwright Nominee/Best Two Person Show Nominee

I worked with Ms. Stephanie for 2 years while prepping for college auditions and other auditions in town, and she never failed to help get me where I needed to be. Ms. Stephanie Cearley is one of the most knowledgeable people I have worked with. The time that I spent with Ms. Stephanie taught me so much that I didn’t realize I had in me. She pulled out so many emotions and feelings in such a vulnerable place that helped me connect to characters faster than usual. Ms. Stephanie provides a safe space for you to explore a role and find the ways you identify with that role to see the character in you. I 1000% recommend working with Ms. Stephanie if you want to continue to grow as an actor and dig deeper into the art because, with Ms. Stephanie, I guarantee you, you will!

-Aiden V., BFA Musical Theatre, Texas State University - currently finishing “Next To Normal” Theatre 3, Dallas, TX

I have worked with Ms. Stephanie for the past 7 years. Acting classes with her have always been my favorite part of the week, whether it was doing improv with 12 other kids or working on a monologue privately. She has helped me prepare for countless auditions and has become my unofficial college audition coach. Ms. Stephanie has pushed me to do things I'd never thought was possible. She believes in her students so much that you can't help but believe in yourself as well. Everyone should take lessons with Ms. Stephanie, because not only is she an amazing teacher but she cares about her students so deeply and wants what’s best for them.

-Audrey L., BFA Musical Theatre, Texas Christian University

Currently working as Swing in “His Story”, a new musical, Dallas, TXMs. Stephanie worked with me for my college auditions and my season auditions during college. By far, she was the most dedicated and passionate acting coach I’ve ever worked with. Each meeting made me feel more confident in my self and my art than I ever have. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone not only because she’s a great coach, but also because she’s a great person willing to meet you where you are, and elevate you to wherever you’re going.

-Graeson L., Law School Student, University of Texas Austin

BFA Acting, University of Oklahoma

I have been working with Ms. Stephanie since almost 6 years. I have always loved acting but every time I worked with Stephanie she made me love it even more. Every audition (UIL as well as College Auditions) I had she helped me dig deep into the characters and work hard to get there physically and mentally. One of the most important aspects I have learned from Stephanie is thinking outside of the box. She always taught me that it’s okay to take a risk. I would recommend Stephanie to anyone who loves this craft and wants to become a better actor.

Proper warm-ups both physically and mentally are essential to an actors availability to access their truth. An actor’s worst enemy is tension.
